Transformation IS the story!

I started sewing when I was 10. My mother and grandmother taught me. Once I started, I never wanted to stop.

I learned quickly. What I mostly learned is that I could use my art to transform my own story and that of others.

When my children were young, I outfitted them … for the world … and sometimes for the theatre.

Later, I took my skills to the theatre as a technical director for a high school. I did the same in community theatre.

I designed costumes for dozens of shows … and lots of actors … many different genres … and all ages.

And I trained others in the craft of manipulating characters through costume. Now they carry on that tradition.

All those many years, I worked with the local costume shop. I dreamed one day it would be mine.

And now it is.

Over 40 years of skill goes into costuming for individuals, businesses, weddings, and theater.

My art is not costuming … it’s transforming.

We all need a little transformation in our lives once in a while.
